Today we have even less data releases than yesterday with just the US NFIB Small Business Optimism Index on the agenda. The market is not focused on the data at the moment, but on tariffs news ahead of the deadline tomorrow.
Keep an eye especially on China after Trump’s threat of imposing additional 50% tariffs effective tomorrow if China doesn’t back off from the recent retaliatory tariffs. If China escalates this further, we could be up for more pain in the markets.
