She shared that it all started with an email inviting her for an audition, something she believes was purely destiny. At the time, she wasn’t living in India and had never even visited the country. Reportedly, director Imtiaz Ali spotted her in a jewelry campaign ad that she had shot while residing in Greece. He then obtained her details through the company, leading to her casting in the film.
