When Priyanka Chopra Jonas revealed the REAL reason behind Shahid Kapoor being at her home during the IT raid |

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is one of the most celebrated personalities all over the world. She is known to be in the news now and then, sometimes because of her work and other times because of her personal life. Most of the time the headlines about her are all things good, but the actress did have her fair share of misfortunate incidents as well. For instance, back in 2011, she made headlines after the IT raid, and what made this news the talk of the town more was the involvement of the Desi Girl’s then-rumoured boyfriend Shahid Kapoor.
Reportedly, Shahid was present at Priyanka’s apartment when the IT team came knocking at her door. However, the ‘Sky Is Pink’ star, set the record straight and said Shahid only came to her apartment after the Income Tax team approached her.
When she appeared in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ in 2011, she said, “Yes, Shahid was there at my apartment when it (the income tax raids) happened. He lives just three minutes away from my home and it was but natural for me to give him a call when all that was happening. My mother was also supposed to be there but she couldn’t make it. So I gave him a call and he rushed to my apartment just as he was (reportedly in shorts).”
Back then the reports of Shahid and Priyanka dating was one of the hot topics of the town. However, the rumoured relationship didn’t last for long. Currently, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is married to Nick Jonas and they are parents to a beautiful daughter Maltie Marie Chopra Jonas. Shahid Kapoor on the other hand, is married to Mira Rajput, and the couple has two kids – daughter Misha and son Zaid.
Coming to their professional lifes, Priyanka as of now is busy with the shoot of ‘Citadel Season 2,’ while Shahid has ‘Deva’ in the pipeline.
