Note that if at any time the EB-2 annual limit were reached, it would be necessary to immediately make the preference category “unavailable”, and no further requests for numbers would be honored. This situation will be continually monitored, and any necessary adjustments will be made accordingly,” the State Department said, issuing a retrogression warning for the EB-2 and EB-3 categories.
