A student from Hyderabad drowned in a lake in Toronto while he was celebrating his brother’s birthday with his friends on Sunday.
Praneet, a resident of Hyderabad’s Meerpet area, went swimming at Lake Clear in Toronto with his friends when he drowned. He was pursuing his Master’s degree in Canada.
Following this, Praneet’s friends informed his parents in Hyderabad about the incident.
The victim’s family has appealed to the government to expedite the process of bringing Praneet’s body back to Hyderabad.
