Kristi Noem Wears $60,000 Rolex during visit to El Salvador’s notorious prison

US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was spotted wearing what appears to be a gold Rolex Daytona worth $60,000 during her visit to El Salvador’s notorious CECOT prison on Wednesday.

Her visit followed an agreement in which El Salvador agreed to detain 250 suspected members of the Tren de Aragua and MS-13 gangs. They were deported on March 15 under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act. A federal judge had tried to block the deportation but the flights were already on their way.

In a video uploaded by Noem on X, she can be seen inside CECOT, the Terrorism Confinement Center of El Salvador. Viewers can spot a flashy gold watch on her wrist. A post on X confirmed that the watch a gold Rolex Daytona worth $60,000. Noem wore the same watch during her meeting with Columbia’s foreign ministry the following day.

Kristi Noem warns undocumented immigrants in US

Illegal immigration remains a key focus for the Trump administration, with a continued crackdown on undocumented individuals.

Kristi Noem made it clear that those who tried to live in the US illegal would face repercussions. “If you do not leave, we will hunt you down, arrest you, and you could end up in this El Salvadorian prison,” she wrote.

Moreover, Noem claimed that CECOT was just one of many available resources the US has when it came to cracking down illegal immigrants.

“This facility is one of the tools in our toolkit that we will use if you commit crimes against the American people,” she said.

CECOT is infamous for its dehumanizing conditions aimed at deterring gang violence in El Salvador that had affected the country for years.
