In what could be the most shocking allegations against a cop, Robert Farley, a New Jersey police chief, has been accused of spiking coworkers’ coffee with Viagra and Adderall. His insane activities in the workplace did not end there; he pooped on the floors and even stuck a hypodermic needle into an officer’s penis, according to legal papers.
Farley took charge of the department last year and since then has been targeting his colleagues with his culture of humiliation, the documents said. He sneaked hot peppers into officers’ food, sent sex toys and gay pride flags to the home of a cop and tossed eggs.
“Farley has fostered a workplace environment characterized by inappropriate behavior and so-called ‘practical jokes’ that are demeaning, demoralizing, and targeted,” one of the accusing officers, Lt. Alex Guzman, wrote. “These actions not only fail to meet the standards of professional conduct but also appear intended to humiliate me and other victims.”
Who is this New Jersey cop?
Farley became police chief in February 2024 after spending more than 20 years with the department. His antics began soon after he took charge. One Michael F Derin who was attacked by a needle by the police chief which went through his jeans and into his penis told chief Farley that he did not like his actions. In reply, the police chief told him that he did not know how to take a joke.
Derin, a former detective in the department, claimed Farley shaves his body hair over people’s food. When he planned on reporting the chief’s behavior to the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, he was fired and his son, Det. Michael A. Derin, was given lousier hours, Derin wrote in the complaint.
“Chief Farley has, on several occasions, pulled his pants down and defecated on the floor in front of his entire office staff,” Guzman wrote on his party. One time he even pooped in the trash can of an office he was moving out of so the next police official moving into the space would find it, Guzman alleged.
