Referring to India, the PPP chief stated “linking any terrorist assault within the area to the specter of battle with Pakistan” is “untenable”. “You can’t have no dispute resolution mechanisms between two nuclear-armed countries,” he stated.

He proposed the institution of a mutually agreed platform the place each side might increase complaints, examine terrorist incidents collectively, and work collectively to make sure accountability.

Reiterating Pakistan’s stance on India’s transfer to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT), Mr. Bhutto-Zardari stated, “it is an attempt to weaponise water.”
