Russia mentioned it confronted a Ukrainian drone assault early on Sunday and intercepted or destroyed round 100 of the unmanned Ukrainian weapons together with some geared toward Moscow.
The Defence Ministry reported its air defence models intercepted or destroyed 95 Ukrainian drones over a four-hour interval. That included two close to Moscow however most have been over Russia’s central and southern areas.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin later mentioned on the Telegram messaging app that the variety of drones destroyed or intercepted close to the capital had risen to 11.
The exercise prompted the closure of Moscow’s three airports for a time.
Regional officers reported air defence models downed drones within the central metropolis of Tula and town of Tver northwest of Moscow.
