Russia launches massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv, 6 dead, 80 injured

Russia has launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, killing at least 6 people and injuring over 80. This attack comes in retaliation to Ukraine’s recent drone strikes on Russian military bases. The Russian forces are targeting Ukrainian infrastructure and industries, disrupting Kyiv’s transport system. Despite attempts at peace talks, including efforts by former US President Donald Trump, both sides continue to escalate military actions. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that around 40 missiles and 400 drones were used in the Russian attack.
