U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday (May 25, 2025) expressed deep unhappiness at Russia’s weekend bombing of Ukraine, saying of Russian President Vladimir Putin, “I’m not pleased with Putin.”
“I do not know what’s mistaken with him. What the hell occurred to him? Right? He’s killing lots of people. I’m not comfortable about that,” Mr. Trump instructed reporters on the airport in Morristown, New Jersey, as he ready to return to Washington.
Mr. Trump spoke in response to a Russian barrage of 367 drones and missiles at Ukrainian cities in a single day on Sunday (May 25, 2025), together with the capital Kyiv, within the largest aerial assault of the struggle up to now, killing no less than 12 folks and injuring dozens extra.
Mr. Trump has been making an attempt to get either side to conform to a ceasefire within the three-year-old struggle in Ukraine and he spoke for greater than two hours with Mr. Putin final week.
He raised the potential for imposing extra sanctions on Russia in response to the continued assaults.
“Always gotten together with him, however he is sending rockets into cities and killing folks, and I do not prefer it in any respect,” Mr. Trump mentioned.
