UN adopts resolution demanding Israel to end occupation of Palestinian territories

The general assembly passed a resolution which stated that Israel had to withdraw from the Occupied Palestinian Territory within the next year on Wednesday. The resolution, which was initiated by Palestinians, garnered 124 affirmative votes while 43 said they will not impose any negative vote or veto but would allow the measure to pass while 15 negative votes were cast from Israel, the U. S., and 12 other nations.
