Tensions in the Middle East region are at an all-time high following the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Israel is facing conflicts on multiple fronts simultaneously. Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Hezbollah fired around 50 rockets from southern Lebanon into Israel on Sunday. Iran-backed Hezbollah said its attack on Beit Hillel in northern Israel was in retaliation for Israeli attacks on Kfar Kera and Deir Syriane in Lebanon.
Lebanon avenges killing of Fouad Shukr
Lebanon had claimed that Israeli attacks in Kafr Kela and Deir Syrian had injured many of its citizens. Hezbollah’s top commander, Fouad Shukr, was also killed in an Israeli airstrike on Tuesday night.
Hezbollah fired 50 rockets
The Israeli War Room posted a video of the airstrike on social media platform X. Along with the video, it said that the Iron Dome had thwarted a rocket attack in northern Israel. The airstrikes seen in the video are the same ones carried out by Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel blocked these airstrikes with the Iron Dome.
Lebanon also intervened in the war together with Iran and Hamas
We would like to inform you that Iran and Hamas directly blame Israel for the murder of Ismail Haniya. Both have vowed to work with Hezbollah to take revenge on Israel. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied responsibility for Mr. Haniya’s death.
